All of the signs fit onto an A4 size sheet of paper (297mmx210mm) but the actual measurements of the signs are shown below to aid with installation (see images below).
Some personal room signs are smaller than the standard signage size.
Typical Installation guidelines (Orientation signage)
Research has shown that the bottom of the signs must be no higher than 1.2m from the bottom of the door and, where possible, the sign must be centred within the overall width of your door. In almost all cases this measurement will work with all door types including fire safety doors with safety handles etc. The width of the signs are shown in the images below:
The signs stick on most materials including wood, glass and plastic. Please try to ensure that the signs are installed straight. If you make a mistake, don’t worry, your signs can be taken off and repositioned.
Interior room sign installation (Personal signage)
Residents internal door sign installation will follow the same convention as the other signs, but for application of small personal room signs, please consult the resident about the application of these and where best to put them.
